Honda Hybrid Engines

The auto industry continues to make big strides in eco-friendly electric vehicles, and Honda has been at the forefront of this effort since it introduced the Insight in 1999. Since then, the brand has developed a range of unique hybrid models as well as hybrid versions of its most popular vehicles. If you're looking for a hybrid, here are the Honda models to put on your list.

2017-2018 Accord Hybrid

For the second year in a row, Honda will offer a hybrid version of its best-selling, award-winning sedan. While the 2018 version is not yet available, it will be released early in the year with a full redesign that focuses on high-quality, soft-touch materials, state-of-the-art technology, and a range of standard driver assistance features. This plug-in will be powered by two motors and is expected to have a range of up to 600 miles on a full charge.

If you opt for the 2017 model of the Accord Hybrid, you'll enjoy the combination of a four-cylinder engine and electric motor that produces 212 horsepower. You'll get an EPA-estimated 49 city/47 highway miles per gallon*, which makes it one of the most fuel-efficient midsize hybrids.

This all-new plug-in hybrid vehicle comes in both a standard trim and a touring model for drivers who want to amp up the luxury. You'll get an EPA-estimated 47-mile electric range and will be able to travel up to 340 miles on a full charge.
