When football fans everywhere tune into the Big Game on Sunday, Feb. 7, they'll get the opportunity to see Honda’s new 60-second ad promoting the completely redesigned 2017 Ridgeline pickup. Scheduled to air during the 3rd quarter of Super Bowl 50, the commercial will mark the TV debut of the light-duty truck, which is slated to arrive at Honda of Fort Worth during the first half of the year.

With over 100 million people expected to tune in to this year’s Super Bowl, it's the perfect platform for Honda to show off the all-new 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The arrival of the truck is set to greatly increase Honda's light duty truck sales, which already reached an all-time high in 2015. Completely redesigned for the first time since its original debut in 2005, the 2017 Ridgeline is on track to take over the midsize truck segment just as it did nearly 10 years ago. The first-generation model was highly praised by critics and fans alike and went on to be named both 2006 Motor Trend Truck of the Year and 2006 North American Truck of the Year.

Due to the success of the original Ridgeline, the 2017 Ridgeline has much to live up to this time around, but thanks to Honda's top-notch engineers and focus on innovation, this shouldn't be a problem. When it comes to developing first-class reliable vehicles, Honda always gets the job done.
