While we are sad to say Mayfest came and went again this year, we are incredibly excited about all of the memories made at this year's premier family-friendly festival in Fort Worth. As one of the event's platinum sponsors, Honda of Fort Worth had a firsthand opportunity to witness this community engaging good time and all of its action that took place from Thursday, April 30 to Sunday, May 3. Between the live music, delicious food, carnival rides, art vendors, children's activities and USATF-certified races, Mayfest 2015 continued the festival’s 42-year legacy as a safe and outstanding event for community members in Fort Worth.
Not only did we enjoy the best weather the festival has had in years, but we also had the chance to meet new friends and to provide free family-friendly activities from our exclusive Honda of Forth Worth VIP sponsor tent. Between our free NASCAR Simulator, Bean Bag Toss and 50" Smart TV giveaway drawing, our professional and fun team was proud to play a part in this phenomenal event that attracts more than 225,000 attendees each year.
Perhaps more noteworthy than the paddle boat rides, yummy carnival snacks, 5k and 10k runs and 58 hours of live performances, is the cause behind the annual Mayfest extravaganza. Created as an event that community members of all ages could enjoy in a safe and friendly environment, Mayfest and its namesake non-profit have contributed more than $6.65 million back into various nature preservation and outreach programs in the Fort Worth area over the past 42 years.
If you missed the celebration this year, no need to worry! Fort Worth's incredible festival will be back again next May to offer yet another weekend full of fun, friends and good times.
