It’s that time of year again: to come on down to Fort Worth's Trinity Park and celebrate Mayfest! As a platinum sponsor of the event, all of us here at Honda of Fort Worth are proud to be supporters of this Texas tradition and we're hoping you will join us and take part in this must-attend event!
On Thursday, April 28, 2016, through Sunday, May 1, you, your family and friends are invited to experience the many different attractions, entertainment and delicious food that Mayfest has to offer. Now in its 44th year, it is the one festival of the year that you won’t want to miss! Held on 33 picturesque acres, the event attracts around 225,000 people every year. And, no matter how old or young you are, Mayfest truly has something for everyone.
For starters, if you like music, you’ll absolutely love it here. There will be seven stages of entertainment and three dedicated music stages featuring a variety of local bands who will be belting out your favorite tunes, like Pop, Rock, Country, Jazz, Texas Country and Bluegrass.
The Tom Thumb Children’s Area is just perfect for the little ones. It allows them to play, mingle with other kids and have fun! Featuring things like face painting, noise makers and wood-n-sticks, this area is always a winner with the kids.
Finally, the food at Mayfest is definitely worth checking out. From traditional festival foods like funnel cakes, turkey legs and corn dogs to a huge variety of savory dishes from local vendors, Mayfest is sure to satisfy even the pickiest appetites.
