Aside from its 2016 award-winning models, like the all-new Civic, Honda has even more to celebrate about this year. The highly reputable automaker has swept the Kelley Blue Book 2016 ‘Best Family Car’ accolades with its impressive models.

Recognized for their astounding abilities to meet the needs of families, the 2016 Honda Civic, Accord, CR-V, HR-V, Pilot and Odyssey have made a big impression on KBB editors. These models were chosen in each of the evaluated car categories for their exceptional performance and safety features.

Earning this kind of recognition is no easy feat either. Those aforementioned models beat out more than two dozen other family vehicles before being chosen as top choices for families by the KBB staff. Acknowledged in the Minivan, Sedan and SUV categories, this distinction has positioned Honda as the most recognized brand in the 2016 KBB.com assessment.

“This recognition by the experts at Kelley Blue Book of six of our core models is affirmation that Honda has the best possible choices for families of any size,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of sales, Honda Division at American Honda Motor Co.

For 2016, the Honda Civic has been completely redesigned. It features a more edgy and upscale look compared to previous models and an enhanced turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Undoubtedly, the Civic offers stop-traffic good looks and zippy performance for car buyers who expect more out of a compact car.

As for the new Accord, it gets various updates as well, including revised suspension tuning and a new interior trim. The 2016 Pilot comes with a new exterior and roomier interior compared to its predecessor. The all-new Odyssey carries over many of the same specs from last year, with the exception of a new Special Edition trim that features many top-tier amenities. Honda’s HR-V model is an all-new addition to the automaker's lineup for 2016 and though it’s a small crossover, it offers fantastic features and holds up to five passengers. The new CR-V model adds a Special Edition trim that gets 17’’ alloy wheels, rear privacy glass and a security system to the entry-level LX trim.
