What's New for the 2019 Honda Pilot?

The 2019 Honda Pilot is a modern family SUV delivering high performance and new dynamic styles. Pack up the family for a road trip in this spacious 8-passenger van. They will enjoy the WIFI LTE connectivity and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with access to the Rear Entertainment System with a Blu-Ray player. Moreover, there is a CabinTalk PA system to make announcements in the car just in case the kids get too involved with the electronics. This model has a new and improved nine-speed transmission. A Huge Variety of Trims and Colors

There are several trims available that include the LX, EX, and EX-L, Elite, and Touring. The Towing Package comes with a hitch to help pull 3500 pounds with the FWD and 5000 pounds with the AWD. The Elite trim has a grey or beige leather interior, and the beige Captain's chairs are only available in the Touring trim. There is also enough cargo space (109 cu.ft.) to fit many bulky items. The hands-free powered tailgate will open with just on touch.

There is a Display Audio touch screen showing streaming information about connecting your media. The wireless charging stations in front and rear with USB and HDMI ports, perfect for a gaming console. Most vehicles have a stick shift, but this one has a button that changes from Park, Neutral, and Drive. Some extra features are sunshades in the rear and automatic dimming side mirrors.

How Well Does the 2019 Honda Pilot Perform?

The nine-speed transmission comes with an upgraded clutch connecting to a hydraulic system that increases the speed and consistency of the mechanics for smoother gear transitions. Modified valves have better shift along with paddle shifters that produce a smoother ride. The stop-and-start features will start the 3.5 liter V6 engine better. It can generate 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The Intelligent Traction Management System brings all these systems together for an even better ride.
