Honda Civic enthusiasts have even more to love about the ultra-popular model. That’s because the 2016 Civic Coupe is back and better than ever!
Following the lead of the award-winning, four-door Civic, the coupe adopts much of the same specs in terms of style and power; however, you might think it looks better than the sedan, especially around its hind quarters.

Even though the coupe might appear to be much like the sedan, there are some subtle differences between the two. For starters, the Civic Coupe has a wheelbase that is 2.9 inches longer and sits about an inch lower than the four door. Other than this, and the rear design differences, the cars are basically the same.
Underneath the hood, the sporty coupe carries over the same powerplant as the sedan. A 2-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 158 horses and 138 pound-feet of torque gives drivers an exhilarating ride that they are sure to fall in love with. These engine mechanics come standard, while a 1.5L turbocharged motor making 174 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque is optional on the two door.
For an even sportier feel, you might want to consider the six-speed manual transmission, which can be found on the base model. The rest of the coupe lineup comes with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The turbo engine achieves 31 miles per gallon in the city and 42 mpg on the highway, for a combined, EPA-estimated 35 mpg. Those numbers stay almost the same with the 2.0-liter motor, with the exception of it achieving 41 mpg on the highway, instead of 42.
Soft-touch equipment is found throughout the two-door’s interior, and a new seven-inch display audio system is nestled nicely into the dash.
As for technology, this cool car comes well equipped, with features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Standard features on the 2016 Civic Coupe include 16-inch alloy wheels, a backup camera, 60/40 split rear seats, LED daytime running lights, auto headlights, an LCD touchscreen and automatic climate control.
Stop by Honda of Fort Worth and test drive the four-door Civic – two-door models are expected to arrive at our dealership this spring.
