Take a step back in time at the Log Cabin Village in Fort Worth. Situated on three acres of lush land, Log Cabin Village is a must-see attraction for anyone living or visiting northern Texas.

In the 1800s, log structures were commonly found throughout this area. However, by the 1950s they started vanishing from the landscape – taking a piece of our rich Texas history with them. That’s when community leaders stepped in and created this place, which is home to six authentic North Texas log houses that were chosen and moved here.

Perfect for all ages, this property gives visitors an in-depth look at what life was like during Texas’ pioneer era (1840-1890). The exhibits include a water-powered gristmill, a one-room schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, an herb garden, and several log home settings. Workers portray the lifestyle of Texans in the mid to late 1800s. From candle dipping demonstrations to blacksmithing and milling, this place offers unique family fun that you're sure to never forget!
