It's the most wonderful time of the year at Moody Gardens! The 15th annual Festival of Lights is bringing excitement and holiday cheer to the Gulf Coast with amazing light shows, ice skating, an arctic slide, holiday train rides and lots of other entertainment. Plus, there's a brand-new Ice Land attraction you won't want to miss!

If you've never been to the Festival of Lights, it's worth the trip to Galveston to see what all the buzz is about. There are over one million lights and 100 uniquely designed light displays that are made all the more brilliant with a cheery musical backdrop.

The ice rink is also lots of fun for young and old. In addition to festival admission, which is $10.95, you can rent a pair of ice skates for only $7, and glide around to fun holiday and pop music. You may also bring your own skates to avoid the extra fee.

If you have little ones, bring them out for a meet and greet with Jolly Old Saint Nick. He's taking time out of his busy schedule to attend the event and it's always a magical experience for kiddos.

In addition, Moody Gardens offers a brand-new Ice Land Ice Sculptures Caribbean Christmas attraction that uses two million pounds of ice! Preview it and the Festival of Lights in the video below.

Both events take place now through Jan. 8, 2017. To learn more, visit the Moody Gardens website.
