Honda Accord Makes Car and Driver 10Best List for 36th Time  
 

Car and Driver recently released their 2022 Car and Driver 10Best List. Honda's Accord was included in the list, making this their 36th time being featured. Chief Brand Officer of Car and Driver, Eddie Alterman, explained the importance of this milestone. He stated the reasons for including the Accord on the list each year, such as a fun driving experience, safety, affordability, and fuel efficiency.

The Honda Accord features a unique exterior design along with a high-end interior. The powertrain is impressive, setting the bar high for this sedan. When it comes to performance, you can choose between three different engine options. This includes a 1.5-liter CVT engine that provides 192-horsepower, a 10-speed automatic variety that achieves 252-horsepower, and a 2-motor hybrid option that gets 212-horsepower. The hybrid model has an extremely impressive fuel efficiency rating of 48 miles per gallon combined. In regards to safety, all of the trim levels of the Accord come with the Honda Sensing Suite safety package.

The 2022 Honda Accord Updates

In 2022, Honda has added the Sport trim level as part of the lineup and the Accord Hybrid. The EX trim level has been removed. The Sport includes upgrades like 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights/fog lights, a black rear spoiler, Apple CarPlay connectivity, Android Auto connectivity, and an eight-speak sound system.
