What's New for the 2019 Honda Fit?

Honda's major overhaul to the 2018 Honda Fit left little room or expectation for changes to the 2019 Honda Fit. With its practical nature, Honda found a way to improve this compact and dependable hatchback.

Additional features introduced with the 2019 Honda Fit include a few tweaks to the trim levels. Platinum Pearl White is a shiny new exterior color that replaces White Orchid Pearl. Rocker panel extensions along with moldings alongside the body and accent the colors. Depending on the type of loose items you carry in the cargo space there are several choices to keep them contained right where they belong.

After all, there is nothing worse than driving in traffic only to discover an orange rolled under the brake pedal. Cargo nets basically cover items that are not likely to move around. A full soft sided cargo cover keeps most items well within the cargo area. For those belongings determined to break free of cargo area confinement you may want a rigid cargo cover to keep them firmly in place.

The CVT gets the best mileage in the LX model, 33 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway. The other models get 31 mpg traveling in the city and 40 mpg cruising on the highway when equipped with the CVT.
