2020 Fit Comes with Amazing Array of Features

The 2020 Fit LX base trim includes the Magic Seat in the second row. This entry-level model has a 5-inch infotainment screen and wireless Bluetooth. You'll get a 7-inch LCD monitor in the Sport trim, which also offers smooth connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Entertainment options in the Sport and above models include Pandora, HD Radio, and SiriusXM.

These Fit models have the HondaLink application that's optimized for mobile phones. The EX and EX-L models have lots of other upgrades, such as sliding sun visors, cargo tie-downs, and 1.5-amp USB charging ports.

Honda Fit Powertrain and its Performance

2020 Honda FitProducing up to 130 net horsepower at 6,600 RPM, a 1,498 cc engine block propels the 2020 Fit. When measured at 4,600 RPM, this compact powertrain cranks out 114 pound-feet of peak torque. This gasoline-powered propulsion system includes the i-VTEC valvetrain and DOHC components. Direct injection draws regular unleaded gasoline into this I-4 engine block. Standard in all trims, the Eco Assist System helps you achieve maximum fuel economy under different driving conditions.

Want to optimize gas mileage in the city or while driving on the highway? Simply press the ECON button that's illuminated by a bright green light. Based on rigorous SAE tests, this subcompact Honda car gets up to 40 MPG on the highway and 31 MPG in the city. Such fuel economy ratings are achieved with the continuously variable transmission system. The six-speed manual transmission slightly reduces the gas mileage in the city and on the highway.

Technologies to Keep You Safe

2020 Honda FitUp to nine active safety features are standard in the 2020 Fit EX and above trims. Most of the driving aides are controlled by the latest edition of the Honda Sensing bundle. When you face an imminent risk of a crash on the road, the Forward Collision Warning will produce alerts in various intensities. The Collision Mitigation Braking helps you take advantage of maximum braking power in a critical situation. Want to keep a safe headway during a long commute? Simply turn on the Adaptive Cruise Control.

By responding to traffic flow, the ACC keeps you at a safe distance behind another vehicle that's in front. If you accidentally lose control of the steering, the Road Departure Mitigation might help you stay on course. Additionally, the Lane Departure Warning gives you an alert when you cross into another lane without activating the correct turn signal indicator. With supplemental cues from the Honda LaneWatch, you'll feel extra confident on a highway with several lanes. Don't forget to use the Auto High-Beam Headlights when you take a drive at night.
