2020 Honda Passport

What's New For the 2020 Honda Passport?

The 2020 Honda Passport is described as a "versatile" SUV, and for a good reason. This year's Passport features a sleek exterior design and first-class cabin while also offering the utility of an off-road SUV. The latest version of the Passport doesn't get any major changes from the previous model year. However, you'll still find plenty to enjoy, including a spacious interior that has an exceptional amount of passenger space. There's plenty of cargo storage space in this year's Passport as well, inviting you to bring all your belongings along for the ride. Comfortable front seats are another highlight of the 2020 Passport. With several distinct trims available, everyone can find a Passport to enjoy.

What Are the Honda Passport Trims & Features?

The 2020 Passport family has four distinctive and equally appealing trims. The base model is the Sport. Inside, it is equipped with a five-inch infotainment display screen and three zones of climate control. A seven-speaker sound system plays your favorite music with ease. Three rows of seats with a split-folding design make it easy to access the Passport. The Sport also gets keyless ignition for convenience. On the outside, it stands out with LED lights and chrome touches. The second trim is called the EX-L. This distinctive trim adds more in the way of luxury and technology.

The EX-L features heated seats in the front and leather seating in all rows. It also gets a sunroof and a power-operated liftgate. This trim gets a larger eight-inch infotainment display screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Its additional safety features include blind-spot monitoring. The Touring extends heated seats to the back row. Its audio system increases the number of speakers to 10 for better sound. Navigation is included in this trim's infotainment system for convenience.

Along with the previous safety features, you'll get parking sensors with this trim as well. The Elite adds ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel for additional comfort. A wireless charging pad is standard on the Elite, too.

All trim levels of the 2020 Passport share the same engine, but they are offered with different powertrains. The standard engine is a 3.5L with six cylinders. This engine produces up to 280 HP and 262 LB-FT of torque. It is connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain for the Sport, Touring, and EX-L models. The Elite is equipped with all-wheel drive, which is available on the other trim levels.

The 2020 Passport Has a Long List of Safety Features

All trims of the 2020 Passport get a number of safety features. While they all include some basic driver-assist safety aids, you'll find more safety technology as you move up the line. The base trim gets adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and forward-collision warning. Blind-spot monitoring is standard, starting with the second trim level. The Touring also adds parking sensors for convenience. All trims also have LED lights for added visibility. They are all outfitted with airbags throughout the cabin and seat belts for all occupants as well.
