What's New For the 2021 Honda Accord?
The 6-speed manual transmission, which was exclusive to the Sport trim, is now gone. All trims save for the Touring-which is paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox-comes with a continuously variable transmission.
Available Features in the 2021 Accord
The 2021 Accord is available in five trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring. A five-seater, the Accord gains driver-side power adjustability and a leather-wrapped steering wheel at the Sport level, and front-seat heating is added on the EX. The EX-L is so named because it comes with leather seat trim, and it also gets driver-side memory and front-passenger seat power. Exclusive to the Touring are rear-seat heating and front-seat cooling.
Standard comfort and convenience features on the 2021 Accord include dual-zone automatic climate control, remote keyless entry and push-button engine start, a four-speaker AM/FM stereo system, Bluetooth, and a 7-inch display screen. Go for at least the Sport to boost features such as a driver information interface, proximity keyless access, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto smartphone integration, hands-free text messaging ability, HondaLink remote car connectivity, and an 8-inch touchscreen.
The EX gains remote engine start, HD Radio, a charging-only USB port, and a trial subscription to SiriusXM Radio. The EX-L replaces the four-speaker stereo system with a 10-speaker one, and the rearview mirror gains the auto-dimming ability and a garage-door opener. Exclusive to the Touring are wireless phone charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and 8-inch touchscreen navigation.

2021 Honda Accord Performance
The base engine on the 2021 Accord is a turbocharged 192-horsepower 1.5-liter 4-cylinder. For more acceleration ability, go with the turbocharged 252-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, which is standard on the Touring.
Accord Safety at the Forefront
The Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistance technologies provides adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, and road departure mitigation. Honda Sensing is joined by a rearview camera and automatic high-beam technology. Eight airbags-two frontal impact airbags, knee airbags for the driver and front passenger, two side-impact airbags, and two side curtain airbags-are on board to provide protection when there's a crash. Honda adds a pair of driver-assistance technologies at the Sport trim level, which adds blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring exclusively has a head-up display and front and rear parking sensors.
