
What's New for the 2025 Honda Civic?
Although the Civic is already one of the most popular vehicles in its class, it receives several upgrades for the 2025 model year. Known as a fan favorite among sedans, the Civic is also available as a hatchback for those preferring sportier styling. This year's Civic introduces a hybrid powertrain to the lineup and updates to the grille and front end. Certain changes are trim-specific, including the addition of Google technology in the top trim level.
What Are the 2025 Civic Trims & Features?
The base model for the Civic sedan is the LX, featuring standard LED headlights and 16-inch steel wheels. The interior includes automatic climate control, a sound system with four speakers, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
The Sport trim adds keyless entry, a remote start, a split-folding back seat, ambient cabin lighting, and a leather steering wheel. The sound system is upgraded to eight speakers for better sound quality.
The Sport Hybrid trim level features a different engine, a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and additional safety technology.
The Sport Touring Hybrid trim adds power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, a digital gauge display, and a larger nine-inch infotainment display. It also comes with a wireless phone charger and a premium Bose sound system.
The Si trim has all-season high-performance tires for comfortable and efficient driving year-round, larger brakes, and a sport-tuned suspension system. The interior features sporty front seats with more bolstering for support and manual adjustment capability.
The Type R trim is the most performance-oriented, with an adaptive sport exhaust, wider fenders, exclusive sporty synthetic suede seats, and upgraded Brembo brakes. It also includes summer performance tires as standard.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 Civic Have?
The standard engine is a 2.0L that produces 150 horsepower. The Sport Hybrid uses a hybrid powertrain to generate 200 horsepower. The Si has a turbocharged 1.5L engine that produces 200 horsepower, while the Type R has a larger turbo engine that delivers 315 horsepower.
What Safety Features Does the 2025 Civic Include?
The Civic comes with lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning.
